My Background

I graduated from Bates College with a BS degree in Biochemistry. At the time, I wanted to pursue biomedical research, so I worked in a research lab at the University of Washington for 2 years. I realized that research wasn’t the right fit for me, but I enjoyed the computer science classes I was taking while working. As I explored other career options, I decided to continue learning computer science because of the opportunities it would open for me.

My Future

In Spring 2020, I interned at Facebook and will be returning as a full-time software engineer in January 2021. I’m excited to apply what I’ve learned at Northeastern towards building things for others to use.
